Bike Camp
Camp Overview
We are excited for yet another great summer of Mountain Biking. Bike Camp are geared toward the beginner to intermediate rider who is 6-14 years old. All campers must be able to ride a bike independently without training wheels. During camp we will bike on trails in Richmond and surrounding towns.
Campers will begin each day with a skills workshop and some light riding in Richmond. We will be joined by our friends from Earl’s Bike Shop to learn about bike safety, maintenance, and etiquette. Campers will depart Richmond by bus around 10:00 am each day and head to our riding destination. Campers will spend the day enjoying a mix of trail riding, games, snack, lunch time, and swimming . Campers will return to school for pick up by 3:30 PM each day most days.
We have a great team of counselors this summer who teach PE at area schools and are looking forward to working with your children. If you would like to join us for a day of riding, please let us know by emailing brian.godfrey@mmuusd.org
