STEM Outdoor Science Camp

Creativity, building, physical movement, outdoor exploration, teamwork, fun...this week of camp has got it all!   Mr. G and Mrs. Rankin are working together to bring you a week of camp full of great experiences using physical movement AND hands on learning.

Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) are each part of our everyday lives.  STEM is all around us! This week will provide campers with the opportunity to develop and extend their understanding and passion for STEM as they explore a variety of activities. Experiences will be fun and challenging.    Campers will spend some time inside working on robotics, lego building, science experiments AND then we will connect that work with the natural world with outside exploration.  Designing and building forts and bridges, launching rockets, and much more.  In addition campers will get to swim, hike, and explore the great outdoors with daily field trips.

The camp is designed for students 6-14 years old to explore and challenge themselves. Campers will have fun building, creating and making as well as participating in group experiments and activities - learning together.  Students will also have ample time to play outside.

Please have your child bring the following items to camp.  Each camper will have a bin to store their supplies in and feel free to leave them at school.   Lastly, your child will need to bring their own lunch each day.  Please email me at brian.godfrey@cesuvt.org if you have questions.
